Who is PSV Game Studio?
PSV Game Studio is based in Cyprus, and has been a major force in mobile gaming since 2014. They currently work with 20+ gaming studios and have a portfolio of 250+ games. They started self-publishing 1.5 years ago and since then they have used Tenjin as their sole Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) and main source of data for all of their in-house analytics.
Scaling User Acquisition with Tenjin
PSV Game Studio has been able to grow very fast, and is currently running user acquisition (UA) campaigns for 100+ apps. Tenjin plays a crucial role in helping the PSV Game Studio team in identifying the most effective channels and campaigns for driving new installs and ROI.
“We use Tenjin’s reporting to really understand the performance of our user acquisition efforts,” Zoriana shared. “We can see which campaigns and geos are delivering the strongest results, what is the worst and best publisher for us, what we need to boost, and what we need to pause.”
One of the main KPIs PSV Game Studio relies on is 56-57% Day 0 ROAS.
DataVault & Raw Data Access
According to Zoriana, one of the key advantages of using Tenjin, is the ability to create custom reports that align with PSV’s specific needs. Through Tenjin’s DataVault, the team can access granular user-level data and build out dashboards that provide a comprehensive view of their performance.
“We grab all the historical data from Tenjin and use it to see the full user behavior or journey – whether that’s over the last 30, 90, or 120 days,” Zoriana explained. “This allows us to really understand how users are engaging with our games and identify opportunities to optimize our user acquisition and monetization strategies.”
App-level Access for Different Teams
The flexibility of Tenjin’s reporting capabilities has been particularly valuable as PSV Game Studio has scaled its publishing business. In addition to managing their own titles, the team now works with 20 different gaming studios, each requiring access to their respective apps.
“We’re able to give our publishing partners their own admin-level accounts in Tenjin,” Zoriana said. “This allows them to access data and build reports specific to their own games, without seeing information related to other studios we work with.”
Tenjin as a Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP)
As PSV Game Studio continues to scale its mobile gaming empire, Tenjin has emerged as a crucial ally in their journey. From tracking critical KPIs and building custom reporting to empowering publishing partners, the platform has become an indispensable tool in the team’s arsenal.
“I would recommend Tenjin to any publisher or game studio looking to scale their mobile business, and that runs both ads and in-app purchases in their game.” Zoriana said.
